"Art is a place for children to learn to trust their ideas, themselves, and to explore what is possible"

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I firmly believe that an art classroom should serve not only as a space for learning but also as a safe haven for students. As an educator, my primary objective is to establish a welcoming environment that fosters a sense of security for all students, utilizing art as a tool for self-improvement and self-expression. Given that school can be a challenging experience for students of all ages, art classrooms can provide a much-needed break from academic pressure. While students acquire essential skills, they also have the opportunity to cultivate their talents and explore their creative potential.
